Support horror bloggers for Halloween! Visit Darkeva for a Jenny Pox review, interview & giveaway!

Darkeva is celebrating Halloween with Jenny Pox.  I really like Darkeva's blog because it says "horror" right there at the top--none of this "I like paranormal, supernatural, urban fantasy, and vampires, but NOT horror" nonsense for her.  If you like horror, swing by and give her some comment love today.  There's a Jenny Pox review as well as an author interview and giveaway.

Jenny Pox gets 5 out of 5 cups at Caffeinated Diva! That's a lot of caffeine.

Kim at Caffeinated Diva won a Jenny Pox ebook in a LibraryThing giveaway.  But it was lucky for me, because she not only loved the book but posted a review on her blog, Amazon, Goodreads, and all over the reading world.  I really like the theme of her blog, probably because coffee is such an important part of my writing time.

Really enjoyed the "Draculas" project...

I've just finished DRACULAS, a project by J.A. Konrath, Blake Crouch, F. Paul Wilson and Jeff Strand.  Four horror novelists collaborated on this story about vampires, with the stated goal of making vampires scary again.

I think they've succeeded!  This is a great, fast read.  The story begins with the discovery of Dracula's skull in Romania.  Though dismissed as a hoax, the skull is purchased by an American billionaire who is close to death himself.  His intention is to become a vampire and gain immortality.

He collapses after stabbing himself with the fangs and is rushed to the emergency room.  The hospital is soon teeming with vampires.  Thanks to a train crash in another part of the state, the hospital is on its own as far as police and National Guard help.

The whole story takes place in one night, making it fast-paced and hard to put down.  It's a great story for anyone who's been missing the evil, monstrous kind of vampire--the kind that actually gives you nightmares.

Jenny Pox Reviewed at Bewitched Bookworms: 5 out of 5.

Not one, but TWO of the smart n' sassy ladies at Bewitched Bookworms have written reviews of Jenny Pox.  They both really loved it (which is lucky for me, because you get the sense they could be quite snarky if they didn't...).  Many thanks to both Heather and Pushy Fox for taking the time read and share their thoughts on Jenny!

Jenny Pox and Helix have both been discounted!

Jenny Pox ebooks are currently discounted to just $2.39 in the US Kindle store.

If you're in the UK, you can get Jenny Pox for Kindle for just 69 pence.

Jenny Pox paperbacks are still discounted to $9.36 (trade paperback).

Helix paperbacks are now discounted to just $11.69 (trade paperback)!

That's a lot of discounts.  I have no way of knowing how long these will last, since Amazon seems to put things on sale more or less at random.  If you've thought about trying one of these books, now is the time!

UPDATE: Missed one!  Dominion paperbacks are now part of an Amazon 4-for-3 promotion.  (According to Amazon: This item is eligible for our 4-for-3 promotion. Eligible products include select Books, Single Copy Magazines, and Home & Garden items. Buy any 4 eligible items and get the lowest-priced item free.)  No wonder I've been selling all those paperbacks this month!

Ash from Swamp Dweller reviews Jenny Pox...

Ash describes Jenny Pox as a predictable mash-up of things she's seen before, and also a fun, entertaining read with an ending she loves.  My best negative review, or my worst positive review?  You decide.
